With age, the marks on our faces become unique maps as each wrinkle is a vestige of the common facial expressions triggered throughout a day. This plotting of sorts, is more evident in the eyes where skin lines and blood vessels surround speckles in the iris—speckles that are believed to mark bodily ailments. Each day, I take a moment to document the eye as the weight of time and its hours rests in its marks. With every photograph, I trace evidence of age but also reveal the burdens of a day.
